Short version: these apps collect nothing.
Last updated: 24 September 2026
No data is collected, stored, or transmitted. The apps listed on this site work entirely on your device. There is no server, no account and no analytics. They function with no network connection at all.
This is why the App Store privacy label for these apps reads “Data Not Collected”.
Where an app processes photos or files, that processing happens on your device and the results stay there. Nothing is uploaded. When you pick photos, iOS shares only the items you select; the apps never receive access to your full photo library. When an app saves a result back to Photos it asks for add-only permission, which does not allow it to read your library.
The EXIF remover and the image compressor remove camera and location metadata from the images they write, by default. The timestamp camera does the opposite on purpose: a stamped photo keeps its own camera metadata and capture date, and if you turn coordinates on, the position is also written into the photo's location data. It stays in your photo library; nothing is sent anywhere.
Where an app uses the camera to measure light, it reads only the camera's exposure settings (aperture, shutter time and ISO) and converts them to a light level. No photo or video is captured, stored or transmitted, and the camera is switched off whenever the app is not on screen. iOS asks for your permission before the camera is used, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings.
Where an app takes photos or videos with a date and time stamp (the timestamp camera), the stamp is drawn on your device and the result is saved only to your photo library, with add-only permission. Video sound uses the microphone only if you allow it. Small copies kept for the in-app PDF report stay on the device and are removed with the app or when you clear the list.
Where an app shows the live camera under a picture you want to trace (the tracing app), the camera image is only displayed on screen. Nothing is recorded, stored or transmitted. Pictures you pick come through the system photo picker, which gives the app only the photos you choose, and they stay on your device.
Where an app measures sound level (the decibel meter), it uses the microphone only while a measurement is running and only to calculate a level. Sound is analysed as it arrives and is never recorded, stored or transmitted; a saved measurement contains only numbers (levels and times). iOS asks for your permission first, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings.
Where an app offers a reminder (for example a payday reminder in the work hours app), it is a local notification scheduled on your device. No push service is used and nothing is sent to us.
Where an app measures the distance you travel (the taxi meter), it uses your location on the device to add up that distance. With no ride running it uses location only while the app is on screen; during a ride it keeps measuring in the background, and iOS shows the location indicator, until you stop the meter. Positions are never transmitted. The route is not saved: while a ride is running the app keeps its current state, including the last position, on the device so an interrupted ride can continue, and deletes it when the ride ends. A ride you choose to keep in the log stores only its date, distance, time and fare. iOS asks for your permission first, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings.
Where an app prints coordinates on a photo (the timestamp camera), it does so only if you turn that on. The position is written as numbers into the stamp, is never turned into an address and is never transmitted.
Shifts and pay rates, shared expenses, raffle lists and results, cash counts, dice history and sushi dinners that you enter in these apps stay on your device. They are not sent anywhere; note that your device backups may include them. A share, PDF or CSV is created only when you start it, and goes only where you send it. Deleting the app removes the records.
Where an app times contractions (the contraction timer), the times you record, any markers and notes stay on your device. They are not written to Apple Health, and the app does not send them to iCloud or anywhere else; note that your device backups may include them. An export (PDF or CSV) is created only when you start it, and goes only where you share it. You can delete all records in the app at any time, and deleting the app removes them.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, name, or Apple Account. The apps only ask Apple whether a purchase exists for this device.
Some apps keep a short event log (for example “app launched”) to help diagnose problems. This log is stored only on your device, is never transmitted, and can be cleared from within the app.
These apps are not directed at children and collect no personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Since no data is collected, no change can affect data already gathered — there is none.
