Help & frequently asked questions
Cash Counter adds up cash by denomination: a till, a cash box, a club kitty. You enter how many of each note and coin you have, and the total follows every tap. It works with no connection and no account.
The usual bank sizes. Euro: 25 coins for 2 € and 1 €, 40 for 50, 20 and 10 cent, 50 for 5, 2 and 1 cent. US dollar: 50 pennies, 40 nickels, 50 dimes, 40 quarters. Canadian dollar and yen are also supported. Notes come in bundles of 100. Coins without a standard roll size are entered one by one.
The opening float is the change you leave in the drawer for the next day. With it set, the app shows the takings (count minus float) and which notes and coins to take out so the float stays behind, as close as the coins allow — large notes first, small change stays. The expected amount is what the drawer should hold, for example the cash total from your register. The difference (over or short) is shown next to the total.
Yes. Every tap is saved at once. Each currency keeps its own count.
Free: counting euros — every note and coin, rolls and bundles, the total and subtotals — with no time limit. Cash Counter Pro (one payment, no subscription) adds 17 other currencies (Swiss franc, pound, US dollar, Turkish lira, yen, won and more), the opening float and expected amount, saved counts with date and note, and a one-page PDF report. Options that need Pro show a PRO badge.
No. Cash Counter is a counting aid. It is not a cash register or a cash book, and its reports are not accounting records. The totals are only as right as the counts you enter.
