What the app does
Sly Word is a pass-and-play party game for one phone (also known as the liar game or imposter game). Everyone
gets the same secret word except the liar, who only sees the category. Players take turns hinting at the word without
saying it, then vote on who is bluffing.
How to play a round
- Set up. Choose the number of players (3 to 8; up to 12 with Pro), type names if you like, pick a
category or Random, the word language and an optional discussion timer.
- Pass the phone. Each player sees a “Pass the phone to …” screen, taps Show my
card alone, reads it and taps Hide & pass. The card shows the secret word and the
category, or “You are the liar” and the category.
- Talk. The app picks who starts. Go round the table, one short hint each. Too obvious helps the
liar; too vague looks suspicious.
- Vote. Agree on one player and tap Unmask. If they are innocent, the liar
wins.
- Last guess. A caught liar picks the secret word from the category’s list. Right, and the liar
still wins; wrong, and the table wins.
Questions
Can the next player see my word?
No. The word is never on the “Pass the phone” screen. Hiding the card, swiping back or leaving the app puts it
back under the cover, and the app switcher shows a blank screen.
Why are the words different in each language?
Each word language has its own lists, written for that culture rather than translated: Korean dishes in Korean,
Turkish dishes in Turkish, and so on. The word language is chosen in the setup, separately from the app’s language,
so a group can play in the language they share. Words do not repeat in a session until a category is used up.
What is Spy mode?
A Pro rule: the liar gets a different but similar word from the same category and is not told they are the liar.
Listen for the hint that doesn’t quite fit — maybe even your own.
How are points counted?
With Pro, scores add up across rounds until you end the game. If the liar is caught and guesses wrong, every other
player gets 1 point. If the liar is not caught or guesses the word, each liar gets 2 points.
Can I add my own words?
With Pro: Category › Manage your lists › New list. Give it a name and at least 8 words, one per line or separated by
commas. Lists are stored only on this device; you can edit or delete them at any time.
What is free, and what is Pro?
Free: Classic mode, 3 to 8 players and four categories (food, animals, places, jobs). Pro is a
one-time in-app purchase that adds the other 14 categories, Spy mode, up to 3 liars, up to 12 players, scores across
rounds and your own word lists. There are no ads and no subscription.
I paid but it is still locked
Open Settings (the gear on the setup screen) and tap Restore Purchase, signed in
with the Apple Account you bought with.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
What data is collected?
None. The app does not use the network (apart from the App Store for the purchase), has no account and no ads.

- 폰 하나를 돌려 가며 각자 혼자 카드를 확인해요. 모두 같은 제시어를 받고, 라이어는 카테고리만 봐요.
- ‘폰을 넘겨 주세요’ 화면에는 단어가 없어요. 가리기, 뒤로 스와이프, 앱 나가기 모두 카드를 다시 가리고, 앱 전환 화면에도 보이지 않아요.
- 돌아가며 설명한 뒤 한 명에게 투표하세요. 걸린 라이어는 카테고리 목록에서 제시어를 한 번 맞힐 수 있어요.
- 단어 목록은 번역이 아니라 언어마다 따로 만들었어요. 단어 언어는 설정에서 앱 언어와 따로 고를 수 있어요.
- Pro(한 번 구입, 구독 아님): 18개 카테고리 전부, 스파이 모드, 라이어 최대 3명, 최대 12명, 라운드 점수, 나만의 단어 목록. 구입했는데 잠겨 있다면 설정 › 구입 복원.
- 계정, 광고, 네트워크가 없고 데이터를 수집하지 않아요.

- Tek telefon masada dolaşır; herkes kartına tek başına bakar. Herkes aynı gizli kelimeyi alır, yalancı yalnızca kategoriyi görür.
- “Telefonu ver” ekranında kelime yoktur. Gizlemek, geri kaydırmak ya da uygulamadan çıkmak kartı yeniden kapatır; uygulama değiştiricide de görünmez.
- Sırayla ipucu verin, sonra bir oyuncuya oy verin. Yakalanan yalancı, kategorinin listesinden kelimeyi bir kez tahmin edebilir.

Sly Word: Wer ist der Lügner
Hilfe
- Ein Handy geht reihum; jeder schaut seine Karte allein an. Alle bekommen dasselbe geheime Wort, der Lügner sieht nur die Kategorie.
- Auf dem Bildschirm „Gib das Handy an …“ steht nie das Wort. Verdecken, Zurückwischen oder das Verlassen der App deckt die Karte wieder ab.
- Gebt reihum Hinweise und stimmt dann ab. Ein ertappter Lügner darf das Wort einmal aus der Liste der Kategorie raten.
- Pro (einmaliger Kauf, kein Abo): alle 18 Kategorien, Spion-Modus, bis zu 3 Lügner und 12 Spieler, Punkte über die Runden, eigene Wortlisten. Gekauft, aber gesperrt? Einstellungen › Kauf wiederherstellen.
- Kein Konto, keine Werbung, kein Netzwerk; es werden keine Daten erfasst.
Sly Word: 嘘つき探しゲーム

- スマホ1台を順番に回し、カードはひとりで見ます。全員に同じお題が配られ、嘘つきにはカテゴリーだけが表示されます。
- 「スマホを渡す」画面にお題は出ません。隠す・戻るスワイプ・アプリを離れると再び隠れ、アプリ切り替え画面にも表示されません。
- 順番にヒントを出し、1人に投票。見破られた嘘つきは、カテゴリーの一覧からお題を一度だけ当てられます。
