How it works
- Tap the red button to record a meeting, a lecture or an idea. Tap it again to stop.
- Open the recording, choose the spoken language and tap Make transcript. The text appears in short parts with their time; tap a part to hear it from there.
- Tap a line to fix a word. Share the text from the … menu.
Questions
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. Speech is recognized by iOS on your iPhone; the app never sends audio or text to a server. If your iPhone has no on-device model for the language you choose, the app says so instead of falling back to a server.
Which languages can it transcribe?
Those your iPhone can recognize on the device. The language menu lists only those. iOS may download a language model the first time; this happens in Settings › General › Keyboard › Dictation.
Where does the summary come from?
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, the on-device model writes a short overview, decisions and to-dos from the transcript. It is made automatically, so check it against the text. On other iPhones the summary is not shown.
What is free, and what is Pro?
Free: unlimited recording, transcripts of recordings up to three minutes, editing and sharing the text. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription: longer recordings, summaries, SRT subtitles and text with times, and importing audio files from other apps.
I paid but it is still locked
Open Settings (the gear) and tap Restore Purchase, signed in with the Apple Account you bought with.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
What data is collected?
None. Recordings and transcripts stay on your iPhone; Settings › Delete all data removes them. See the Privacy Policy.
