How to split

1. Type each person's name into Add a person and press Return.
2. Tap Add expense: enter the amount, pick who paid and how it is shared — Equally (tick who was there), By ratio (2 pays twice as much as 1) or By amount (each person's exact part).
3. Tap Settle up. The list under Who pays whom is the result.
4. Tap Share result to send it as a message.

Questions

Why are there so few payments?

People whose amounts cancel each other out pay each other directly, so nobody passes money on. The app looks for the smallest number of payments that settles everyone; with five people that is often three or four.

How does rounding work?

Under Rounding choose 1, 10 or 100 (¥1, ¥10, ¥100; for dollars 1¢, 10¢, $1). Everyone's amount is rounded, and one person takes the small difference so the payments still add up: by default the person who is owed the most (usually whoever paid for the group), or anyone you choose under Difference goes to. Nearest rounds each amount to the closest step; Payments up rounds what people pay up and what they receive down, so the person taking the difference is never short. The note under the section says who takes the difference and how much.

A bill does not divide evenly. Where does the extra yen go?

To the first people in the list, one smallest unit each, so the parts always add up to the bill exactly. ¥10,000 among three is ¥3,334, ¥3,333 and ¥3,333.

What is free, and what is Split Bill Pro?

Free: one event with any number of people and expenses, equal, ratio and exact splits, the fewest-payments result, rounding and sharing the result as text. Split Bill Pro (one payment, no subscription) adds more events kept as a history, weighted split (some pay more in every equal split), expenses in other currencies at an exchange rate you type in, and a PDF report. Options that need Pro show a PRO badge.

How do I start a new event without Pro?

Tap the events icon at the top left, then Start over. This clears the current event.

Why can't I change the currency?

An event's currency can be changed only while it has no expenses, because amounts are stored in that currency. With Pro, a single expense can be in another currency at a rate you enter; each such expense keeps the rate it was saved with, so a later rate never changes an earlier expense.

I paid but it is still locked

Open Settings (the gear) and tap Restore Purchase, signed in with the Apple Account you bought with.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.

What data is collected?

None. No account, no ads, no analytics. Names and amounts are stored only on your device and are removed with the app. See the Privacy Policy.

使い方

1. メンバーを追加に名前を入力して改行します。全員分くり返します。
2. 立て替えを追加をタップし、金額・支払った人・割り方を選びます。 均等（参加した人にチェック）、比率（2の人は1の人の2倍）、 金額指定（各自の金額を入力）。

4. 結果を送るでメッセージとして送れます。

送金回数が少ないのはなぜ？

金額が打ち消し合う人同士が直接やり取りするので、お金を中継する人が出ません。全員の精算に必要な送金回数が最少になる組み合わせを探します。

端数処理のしくみは？

端数処理で1円・10円・100円単位を選べます。各メンバーの金額を丸め、残った端数は1人がまとめて持ちます。標準では一番多く受け取る人（立て替えた幹事さんなど）で、端数を持つ人で変更できます。 四捨五入のほか、支払いを切り上げを選ぶと払う人は切り上げ・受け取る人は切り捨てになり、端数を持つ人が損をしません。誰がいくら持つかは画面の説明文に表示されます。

割り切れないときの1円は？

リストの上の人から1円ずつ割り当てます。合計は必ず支払額と一致します（10,000円を3人なら3,334円・3,333円・3,333円）。

無料版と割り勘 Pro の違い

無料：イベント1つ（メンバー・支払いは無制限）、均等・比率・金額指定、最少送金の精算、端数処理、テキストでの共有。 割り勘 Pro（買い切り・サブスクなし）：イベント無制限と履歴、傾斜割り勘（先輩多め・後輩少なめ）、自分で入力したレートでの外貨の支払い、PDFレポート。Proの機能にはPROバッジが付いています。

Proなしで新しいイベントを始めるには？

左上のイベントアイコンから最初からやり直すをタップします。今のイベントは消去されます。

購入したのにロックされたまま

設定（歯車）で購入を復元をタップしてください。購入したApple Accountでサインインしている必要があります。
